Unglazed Earthenware Clay Cup

Terra Cotta, earthenware with majolica interior
The inside of this cup is glazed and it is functional. As a child, my family home had an outdoors well with a pump and, of course, a metal cup hung from a hook on the pump. Water from that cup was the best tasting water. I get a bit of that sensation when I drink from an unglazed cup.
Barbara Hager Ceramics are food safe, ovenproof, not for stovetop and dishwasher safe but always best hand washed and handled with care.
